Aquariadise & The Shrimp Farm crab giveaway!

February 12, 2017

The Shrimp Farm is an online aquarium store that focuses on shrimp. They are looking to expand their product assortment with the adorable Thai micro crab – but live arrival can’t be guaranteed until the store has tested whether the crabs can safely be shipped to their new owner’s home.

So, The Shrimp Farm has teamed up with Aquariadise to give away THREE live Thai micro crabs to one lucky reader!

The crabs will be shipped to you free of charge. The only thing you have to do is let us know whether they reached you alive and well!

What is a Thai micro crab?

As their name suggests, Thai micro crabs are a tiny crab species. They are a relatively recent addition to the aquarium hobby but their popularity is quickly increasing. Their care is similar to that of dwarf shrimp: keep them in a very peaceful aquarium of at least five gallons (19L) with plenty of hiding places to keep them happy and healthy.

If you want to know more about Thai micro crab care before participating in the giveaway, be sure to have a look at the Thai micro crab caresheet.

How to participate

This is a US only giveaway. The giveaway is located on the new Aquariadise Instagram page, so you need an Instagram account to participate.

  • For an extra entry, tag a friend in the giveaway post.
  • The winner will be drawn on 19 February 2017 using a random number generator and announced on Instagram. The winner has three days to respond.
  • Please keep in mind that Thai micro crabs need a cycled, heated aquarium with suitable tankmates. If you cannot provide this, please do not participate in the giveaway!

Good luck and happy fishkeeping!

Yeah, I wouldn’t even be able to participate in my own giveaway, haha. Has to do with The Shrimp Farm being a US based store. Sorry about that!

        Haha, that’s pretty ironic.

It’s probably fine anyway since I no longer have space for shrimps, all fulla fish now.

        Good luck all
